Hag Attack 2

She broke open my head while I was asleep. I woke to a world of abject horror.
When she comes I know nothing but the terrible sounds of machines, and the hollow sound of my ragged breath.
Each time she enters the room, I feel myself die a little bit more.
Oh, I’ve done the sage thing, prayers, and even used pills to avoid her. But somehow she always gets through. Each night, she somehow gets a little closer. Inch by astral inch. Night by night.

I’ve woken up, and felt the bed shake. I’ve been at work, late at night, and felt a spectral poke, or a caressing hand on my arms or legs.

Question is… what happens when she finally gets to the bed, and sits down?


Her face…… it erupted into something barking, and screaming that night i looked at her finally.
Yet, even remembering this scene of utter horror, I cannot help but lie in wait… listening for the sounds which herald her presence.. frozen in place.. Immobilized by a frail physical shell… willing myself into an astral body….
But I never get there.. always half in, and half out.. a fly in a spider’s web.
One of these nights, she’ll kill me, and take my soul… or I will kill her, and finally enter places normal men never do, except in deep shamanic sleep.

Nifty. She’s done it. Reading this… looking at my artwork….. I see the madness.
I see the fever dream spreading it’s poison on a digital platform.
I’m so goddamned tired, yet I am SO afraid to sleep…
I dread the sound of the door slamming. The frozen state and the sound of a million machines in the distance… I know she’ll whisper in voices familiar to me…. Trick me
Use me.
And eventually, unless I break her…
break me.
